I am a Ph.D. candidate at The University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Religious Studies, where I study religion in the Americas.
I previously earned my MA in History and BA in History and East Asian Studies at Stanford University. I also taught college-level U.S. history for a year before beginning my doctoral studies.
I built this website to share my ongoing discoveries and thoughts about my dissertation research on the cultural and social history of Sabbath-keeping amongst Protestants and Jews in the United States. My work has been supported by grants and fellowships from the University of Texas at Austin, UC Berkeley, UCLA, the University of Southern California, and the Autry Museum of the American West, among other sources.
